Who is responsible for the safety of this bridge as it is in danger of becoming a mecca for people jumping into the Trent during the warm spells? There were two lads jumping from it BH Monday.

Sure this will stop within the cooler months, but perhaps during the winter period access could be prevented around the sides of the bridge.

Possibly saving a life, but also preventing any possible bad publicity for the Club or British Waterways.

If it’s it’s s public footpath it won’t be owned by pride of derby nor will they have the permission to do anything as it was paid for by British waterways and derby county council so it would be up to then to do something.
