hello lads! sorry, when your replies come through as an email on my phone i can only view half the screen!

Jonny, im a trent man too lol. been fishing mainly the A1 pit stretch since i can remember as i was close by until i move to derby a few month ago. hence the reason why ive joined pride. im trying to beat a pb of 13lb caught at dunham bridge.. nearly 6 years ago when it was flooded.. 8oz lead and 25 mins to land lol. i'll be on the trent on the 16th either at sawley weir or where derwent meets the trent. Knowing me it will be for three days. im not used to doing a few hour sessions but having been to the derwent yesterday its perfect for it so my approach is the trent for overnighters or 24 hours minimum and the derwent before, during and after work! the joys of being self employed! im chomping at the bit to get down there and i need new fishing buddies! ;)

oh and with the trent being smaller and the derwent small anyway its an excuse to get new rods as i dont think 15ft 2.75lb barbel rods are suitable!

Hi,
Ha ha I'm sure they will be absolutely fine bud, just what you need for a nice flooded Trent. Yours is longer than mine ;) but again, mine too are 2.75lb! It's needed I feel, especially when you hook an
oak tree floating down the flooded river :S!!!!!!
Can't wait to get amongst 'em!!
I spent some time walking this stretch and it looks great. People are different on the river though don't like to tell you too much !! Fair play!! as Roy castle used to say " dedication is what you need" oh and some fish in your swim!! That'll help.
Tight lines boys for 2015/16.
