Having re joined after probably over 20 years, have been trying out some of the new ponds , first went to posers on the evening me and my partner penny joined, was chucking down with rain so got comfortable under brollys and was rewarded with common carp of 4-15 and penny had one that went 3-12 , we also both had a small tench each. Returning later this week went up the new end but was very slow , I ended up eventually getting small carp, penny a couple of small tench then I had a mirror that went 7-13 .not bad on pole to single maggot and size 20 hook!!
Over the weekend we've tried grimleys an ully gully both fishing as we always do for anything that's going, have really struggled for any bites at all, hopefully it's just the time of year, few more weeks should hopefully see a lot more fish wanting to feed, anybody else having any luck ?
Just like to add when I was last a member, ully gully was the only pond in that area, just like to say what a fantastic job the club has done to all the new ponds and of course improving original ones, everywhere looks neat, tidy and a joy to visit and fish and we are looking forward to catching plenty this year, thanks everyone involved

Hi Kevin. Nice to see you and Penny are enjoying your first weeks fishing on the Pride. I'm sure your catch rate will increase as you get more familiar with the different area's on offer. Thank you both for your positive comments, just shows we must be doing something right..!! Thanks again. Ian
