Just a question or two about how to get to the Trent on the triangle of Sawley cut.
I can walk a little bit, but wifey (my Sherpa) is not willing to walk miles with all my gear.
I've been on google earth, and it looks like there is a track leading round to the sharp end, and the canal path going left toward the weir.
Where will I be able to leave my car and is the fishing any good near the weir?
I've not had chance to look at all our water yet, but would love to try and get round when I can.
As regards the Northern bank of the Trent opposite Redhouse, can we go left after crossing over the white bridge as when I looked, it looked like it was all fenced off and you could only go right toward the canal.
Or is it that in all cases, I've got to yomp to where I would like to fish.
Thanx in advance
