Hello all,
Most fisheries are making it compulsory for anglers to carry some sort of fish care / first aid kit.
Nt labs do a koi care paramedic kit which contains all that is needed for the bankside treatment of injured or damaged fish. At under £15 it is amazing value for money and contains ulcer swabs and treatment, wound sealer ( propolis),plastic gloves and a very informative booklet about fish treatment. If this product was labelled nash or korda the price tag would be well over £30. Ebay delivers it free. There is a fish sedative included in the kit but I would urge only to use under knowledgeable supervision, and is not necessary any way for minor wounds ,hook holds and small ulcers.

Tight lines..... John

Great news - but the Pride of Derby has purchased a significant quantity of high quality "Carp clinic" which is free of charge to our members to apply to fish on our waters.

If you want some of this just see Stuart on site and he will willingly give you a bottle with instruction of how to use.

Note there is no charge for this - we just want the best for our fish !

Well that's even better value !,. It's still a good value kit to have and will work alongside other treatments.. It's comforting to know that pod is on the ball regarding this subject. I was on a lake last year in France and the lake owner had arranged with the local vet / fisheries person to run a first aid course to show anglers the correct procedure of administering these treatments. It was quite interesting, pretty much common sense and there was a charge of 10euros for the pleasure !.Quite cheap really when you consider how much we spend on tackle and bait just to put an hook into these beauties. Nice work POD.

Tight lines ... John
