Q.Are you allowed to night fish grimleys ponds?

There is no problem with you Night fishing on Grimleys but really not a lot in night fishing terms to fish for - the main stock in these ponds is Roach, Bream Tench and a quantity of Crucian Carp

Q.Is it permitted to park on the grass on the road side of Olvers while I unload all my gear or should i Park on the road and unload making other anglers wait until I'm done?

On this subject we would expect common sense to prevail - if the ground were very wet and boggy you should park on the road and let other anglers wait while you unload ( as quickly as possible) if it is dry and will cause no lasting damage to the grass surface park on the grass to unload- as i have noted just use common sense and have respect for the fishing rights and your fellow anglers.

Directions to the fishing Rights

Hi Chris

The Pride Lake is on the road between the A50 and Long Eaton - road called Tamworth Road. To fish Pride Lake exclusivley and Olvers lake on a night basis you would need a £170 permit - and a joining fee of £100 is required.

Best regards
Alan

Q.can anyone tell me the directions to grimleys ponds?
and are they dissabled friendly?

Not Really - Depends on Disability - there is a walk of 100 yard when you get from your car plus going over at lest on Stile.

To get there go down Wilne Lane after turning off Shardlow road at the Navigation Pub. Go down the lane over the canal and at the first left hand bend to will ess a farm gate on the right - go down this lane and park in the Pride of Derby car park on the left side. Go over the stile and to the group of trees facing you - there you will find the ponds.
