On the 2nd Sunday of September we are to hold the annual charity match – this match is an open match held on the River Derwent and is run by the Pride of Derby. The charity supports local hospitals and children’s cancer charities. The fee for fishing the match is £10 - £5 of this goes to the charity and £5 towards the pools – an additional pool of £10 is optional on the day of the match. The clubs take nothing from the proceeds of this match, all we raise gos to the charity. The match commences at 10am on the 2nd Sunday in September and is of 5 hours duration.
